The Giant Spider Battle Pod is an individual digital creature tool for generating encounters for the A’Kyria tabletop RPG system, developed to assist you in creating your own adventures.

Creature Description:

This giant arachnid is approximately the size of a medium dog and hunts with the use of webs, similar to most traditional spiders. It departs from traditional spiders with its skill to also throw webbing to trap an opponent or prey. Giant spiders prefer to spin their webs over holes in the ground or between close trees and prefer nesting in groups. They seldom travel far in search of prey, but, when they hunt, they do so in small groups of 4 to 12. If attacking an immobilized target (one that is caught in the webbing) the spider will attack as normal until the target has been hit past armor. Once the target has been struck and while the spider is attached and feeding, the target will take 1 Life Point of damage per turn.
